Building upon its roots as a Street Fair and cultural tour, our annual fest has evolved into a showcase of business, arts, culture and fun in Ward 7. Our festival is a place to re-unite with friends, meet new acquaintances and just plain hang out or participate in a range of family-friendly activities.

We welcome you to the Summer 2017 series of short-term business Pop-up Shops during July and August. We're open each weekend to give you a chance to see a new world of values and quality products and services you can purchase right here in Deanwood.

These convenient Pop-up Shops showcase a variety of Deanwood's businesses from within the Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave., Sheriff Road, and Division Ave business corridors.

Our location this year, generously provided by A Wash Assoc., gives a unique opportunity for our local businesses to present and explore new retail concepts in an attractive setting.

Please join us and find out more about the Small, Locally Owned and Operated, Independent Businesses in Deanwood and Ward7. In Brief: Online Applications for the FY2017 Great Streets Retail Small Business Reimbursement Grants are available.

Grants of up to $50,000 each will be awarded in FY2016 on a competitive basis to owners of small retail and service-oriented businesses in designated Ward 7 Great Streets corridors.

We are the neighborhood-based resource for business retention and commercial corridor revitalization throughout Ward 7. The Ward 7 Business Partnership (W7BP) formerly known as Deanwood Heights Main Streets(DHMS) is a designated DC Main Streets program funded by the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD). Our business improvement efforts are organized and led by local volunteers and community development professionals. Our services are offered free of charge to independently owned and operated businesses throughout Ward 7.
